- While holding the concave side to your eye and peering through the hole, the wielder can Read Lips (per the Observant trait) up to 60 feet away provided they can see the creature’s mouth and understand the language being spoken.

ACTIVE Mode (1 minute duration / Once per day recharging at dawn
- LISTEN - While holding the convex side to your ear and listening through the hole, the wielder can hear any audible speech from any one creature, (even a whisper), up to 60 feet away for up to one minute.
- LOOK - While holding the concave side to your eye and peering through the hole, the wielder can see through solid objects for up to one minute. This sight is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
