GAME NOTES
We decide to raid the Drow priestesses' quarters and maybe rest there. We let Blarg lead the way but he's as confused and useless as ever. We find the priestesses' room and loot it, finding a black entombed prayer book with web designs in a desk. Arin smashes a chest open with a maul, but it holds.
Meanwhile Ceol, Jitters & Mira engage drow warriors in the halls. We kill one and drive them off, but we know that they are getting reinforcements. Arin takes several more swings to burst the chest open and he finds several treasure items.
We retreat north to the chimera room and then put the dead chimera out in the hall and try to take a SHORT REST.
As the rest ends, a female drow demands our surrender. We try to BS her about being common enemies of House Auvryndar but she doesn't bite and combat ensues. She does not get to the end of her cast spell and is destroyed on the spot.
The 6 Drow warriors and 3 Quaggoths goes harder on us. Ceol gets poisoned again, but we wipe them out.
We go back to the east and begin heading south. In a random room we find a mirror with a frame of crawling spiders. Ceol tries to put it in his sack but gets scared off by seeing a spider in it even though he was not looking.
Gimbal finds a vein of turquoise that looks like a stream flowing away from a basin. Gimbal looks into a basin and sees nothing, but gets scared. We find another room with a trough full of entrails; close that door.
Room after empty room, we head south until we find a hall of smooth stone heading south. It leads to a beach and two rafts. We go further south and find a black ship crewed by a skeleton.
We explore around, unsuccessfully trying to get into a big magically locked room before disabling the raft and returning to the Charon ferryman. He takes us past the sentries to Skullport.
